When you’re feeling the heat at work, you need to be wearing Carhartt FRK009 DN Men’s Navy Flame Resistant Long Sleeved T-Shirts. They’re rated HRC1 and meet ASTM, NFPA and OSHA standards for fire resistance. They’re designed to be a base layer underneath over shirts. If you use them as a base layer, you can add the FR rating to your over shirt’s rating so you’re even more protected.
But they’re oh-so-much-more than a flame resistant shirt. They’re designed with this fabric called Work-Dry. It’s made from a blend of Modacrylic, Tencel and Spandex. The fabric pulls moisture away from the surface of your skin, because we all work up a sweat when we’re on the job. This FR shirt has an anti-odor treatment that fights the bacteria that cause that unpleasant after-work-scent.
This Carhartt FR shirt fits close to your body so you get all the flexibility you need without bunching or pulling. The long sleeves give you extra protection in the work place. The square hem is made for wearing outside your pants. But there aren’t any hem police, so you can tuck it inside if that’s more comfortable for you.
