Made in the USA, this green Sweater is 20% lighter than Filsons Heavy-Weight Sweaters, but still warm and comfortable. Its crafted from 100% Merino virgin wool. Taken straight from the sheep and not scraps or leftovers, virgin Merino wool is known for its extra-long, extra-fine fibers that make it both strong and soft. The yarn is tightly knit and has a worsted finish which makes it durable enough for rugged wear but still comfortable against your skin and not itchy like other wool. The material is quiet in the field and retains body heat without getting damp or clammy, even when wet.
