Staying safe AND warm at work can be quite the challenge. How do you keep the dangerous flames and heat out of your sweatshirt while keeping the soothing warmth in? You wear a Berne Men’s FRSZ06 NV Fire-Resistant Zip-Front Navy Hooded Sweatshirt.
Made of 12 ounce 75% modacrylic, 25% cotton flame-resistant fleece, this navy hooded FR jacket meets the challenge of keeping you safe and toasty-warm. Modacrylic has properties that are similar to acrylic but is flame retardant and doesn’t combust. In addition, modacrylic is soft, strong and resilient. Meeting the requirements of ASTM F1506, NFPA 70E, and OSHA 1910.269, your torso and arms will be shielded from dangerous heat and flames while you have this flame-resistant sweatshirt on. You’ll find not only the fabric to be flame-resistant but other features such as the rib-knit cuffs and brass front zipper to be flame-resistant as well. Even the drawstring on the three-piece hood will protect you from those nasty flames.
When the wind starts to howl and your ears start to freeze, pull the drawstring on this men's work FR jacket tight and wrap your head in soothing warmth. The nasty elements will stay away from your torso as well, thanks to the storm flap that covers the zipper and the concealed hook-and-loop closure at the top.
In addition to providing excellent flame-resistant protection, this Berne FR jacket is extremely comfortable to wear. With a generous fit, you can easily layer shirts or wear a bulky sweater underneath this navy flame-resistant sweatshirt. Two front patch pockets provide just enough storage space for your essentials--cell, phone, wallet, keys, etc. You’ll have everything you need within easy reach.
Two-needle stitched main seams give this protective and warm FR jacket a long shelf life. Even after repeated wash and wear, it’ll resist normal wear-and-tear and look as good as when you first wore it.
