We've been lobbying to change the name of the Champion S1945 8.8 Ounce Double Dry Half Zip Fleece Navy/Stone Sweatshirt, actually. Thanks to Champion's double dry technology, this garment is more appropriately known as a non-sweat shirt.
Made with 8.8 ounce, 100% polyester bonded hydrophilic fleece, this shirt wicks moisture away from the skin to prevent sweat and fight odor. Hydrophilic is a substance that absorbs moisture, and that's what this half-zip sweatshirt does. Made with stretchy construction, Champion's double dry clothing keeps skin cooler and more comfortable when you're working up a sweat.
The sleeves and bottom hem have been double-needle top-stitched, which means that twice the amount of thread was used to create the stitches (that's for extra durability). The raglan sleeve design begins at the shoulders to give arms a full, free range of motion. The bungee drawcord around the bottom gives you an adjustable fit. Pull the barrel stopper closed to keep the drawcord exactly as you want.
The two welt front pockets, with secure zippers, provide storage space. The contrasting grey (stone) side panels are made with the same double dry fabric as the main navy body of the shirt, so you sacrifice nothing for style.
