Carhartt Pants: Men's Fire Resistant Lined Canvas Pants FRB194 BRN
If you're not the sort of guy who can see himself strapping into bibs, choose these Carhartt Men's Brown Midweight Fire-Resistant Canvas Waist Overall Pants FRB194 BRN instead. They offer the same excellent protection to your legs, without the extra layer on your torso.
Flame-resistant clothing is required for many professions. If you stand even a remote chance of coming into contact with a workplace fire, you should protect yourself with FR clothes. These brown waist overalls (which means they only come to the waist, but fit over lots of clothing layers) protect you from workplace accidents involving fire. Made of an 8.5-ounce, flame-resistant canvas, these FR overall pants are a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon.
All safety agencies agree that layers of clothing are the best protection against getting seriously injured on the job. These Carhartt fire-resistant waist overalls have a layer of flame-resistant lining as well. It's not just for safety though; the 6.75 lining is quilted to provide extra warmth. In fact, these FR pants are so safe they're NFPA 70E compliant.
Designed to be comfortable, these overall pants sit slightly below the natural waist. This gives you a little more room to move, and provides a comfortable rise height. The seat and thighs are styled for movement. They're non-restrictive, so you can walk, stretch, squat and sit comfortably.
Like all Carhartt clothing, these brown flame-resistant canvas overall pants are designed to last. The front panels are double fronted, which means they've got an extra layer of fire-resistant canvas where they get the most wear and tear. The back pockets are reinforced as well, so if you're one of those guys who likes to stand with his hands in his pockets, you won't accidentally tear them off (who are you, Popeye?). Self-fabric kick panels at the bottom of the leg openings provide a little extra sturdiness as well. If you like to take your boots off with your feet instead of your hands, you've probably noticed that your pants get worn at the back. Kick panels give you more fabric to wear away before fraying occurs. The main seams are triple stitched for durability as well so these overalls will last a long time.
For easy in and out, these fire-resistant waist overalls have ankle-to-thigh brass zippers that are lined with Nomex zipper tape. The tape provides an interior layer of protection and shields your skin from heat. If you do come into contact with flame, the zipper tape protects your skin from the heat that the brass conducts.
Not every guy is cut out to wear bib overalls. But every guy is the sort of Working Man who wants to stay safe on the job. Take care of yourself while wearing comfortable fire-resistant work wear.
