My Favorite Jeans...
I have a pretty physical job working in a home improvement store, where I'm up and down ladders all the time, bending over, lifting heavy objects, twisting, squatting, crawling underneath the racks, etc. I've tried literally every major brand of jeans that's out there, and up til now, I haven't found anything that works better or is more comfortable on the job than the Wrangler Riggs line. I have several pair of those and I've kept coming back to them because they work and they last. However, not long ago, I decided to try these Wrangler Rugged Wear jeans because they were on sale here and I figured, for the price, I couldn't go far wrong and I could wear them when I wasn't working. Well, I've been wearing them for about a year now, and I wound up wearing them to work, and I find that while they are not quite as substantial as the Riggs jeans, they work just as well. I also find the fit more flattering, though that is not really a serious consideration. For me, it's mostly about function and comfort. If I can criticize anything about these jeans at all, it's the zipper, which while being a perfectly fine zipper, and there's nothing really wrong with it, it is not as substantial as the one they put on the Riggs jeans. If they were to put the same heavy zipper on these as they put on the Riggs jeans, these would be absolutely perfect. But that's really nitpicking. Even so, I'm about to buy another pair of these, because you just can't beat 'em. You can even get them in different "washes," like I do, so I can easily differentiate the ones I wear to work from the ones I wear when I go out. They're my new favorite jean.
