The outer navy shell is made of a flame-resistant 7-ounce twill. A blend of 88% cotton and 12% nylon creates a lightweight, breathable shell that bends and moves with your body. And despite how light and thin it is, the outer shell is water-repellent and tough against abrasions, plus it works to keep you warm in cold weather conditions.
Inside this FR men's jacket, 12-ounce insulation keeps you warm and snug. The two-layer, silver quilted 100% modacrylic is durable in the washer and on your body. Pull the heavy-duty brass zipper of this insulated Bulwark jacket closed to lock in your own natural warmth. Protected with Nomex tape to resist fraying and covered with a two-layer storm flap that blocks moisture, the zipper won't let in water or release your heat. This navy blue flame-resistant jacket has an Arc rating of 43.3 calories/cm^2 (HRC4). The men's FR jacket meets NFPA 2112 standards for flame-resistant clothing.
Even the two-layer stand-up collar is insulated to keep you warm. A snap-on hood can be attached to the collar easily (HLH2NV, sold separately). The hemmed sleeves of this Bulwark flame-resistant jacket for men are made using a knit construction to create a stretchy fit around your wrists. The rugged sleeves end with concealed snap closures, too. Even the waistband is elasticized and stretchy. It's fully tunneled, and you can find the perfect fit for you with it.
