Water squeezes into the smallest places, seeping into the tiniest cracks and crannies. That's one of the reasons these ~Carhartt CMS4190 Brown Romeo EH Waterproof Soft Toe Men's Boots don't have any laces. They're sleek, they're stylish, and they're totally protective in the rain.

The brown uppers of these Carhartt boots are made with a smooth slab of oil-tanned leather. It hasn't got laces, but it has got contrasting white stitching to add detail to the simple design. Use the pull tabs at the back of these Romeo boots to slide your feet right on in, and protect your feet with leather. It's some of the toughest stuff in footwear, and the oil tanning process makes it even tougher. The oil-tanned finish makes leather even more resilient and resistant to water and weather. The leather is even more supple and pliant after being oil-tanned, staying flexible around feet even in wet weather.

Comfort neoprene ankles create a cushioning fit when you wear these waterproof boots. Rubber-like neoprene absorbs shock and stays tough against hard wear and tear. Polyurethane was used to create a comfortable fit beneath your feet. Strobel pads with polyurethane inserts and polyurethane insoles in these men's boots give you multiple layers of shock-resistance. The polyurethane absorbs even more force than rubber, but it weighs less.

Storm Defender construction creates waterproof safety all around your feet. The membranes of these brown boots totally block moisture to keep you dry. The lace-free design prevents those chinks and cracks that get you wet, so your skin will stay healthy and comfortable everywhere.

Blown rubber outsoles create a firm, shock-resistant base for each step. Rubber's natural bounce keeps your feet energized while wearing these Carhartt boots. Welt construction was used to stitch the soles and uppers together in a firm, dependable bond. The rubber soles are oil- and chemical-resistant, and ready to take on harsh work sites. Slip-resistance will keep you ready to take them on. You'll stand tall on your steady stride thanks to the gripping traction.

The soles are even EH rated for electrical hazard resistance. They’re capable of absorbing dangerous electricity to keep you safer. The soft toes of these EH boots meet ASTM F2892-11 standards for impact- and compression-resistance.

Carhartt CMS4190 Brown Romeo EH Waterproof Soft Toe Men's Slip-Resistant Boots protect you from rain and a bunch of other stuff, too.
