Carolina Boots: Men's CA8528 Composite Toe EH Waterproof Work Boots

Do you know how weak your ankles are? One mis-step could cause a twist, a fold, an uncomfortable bend. ~The Carolina Men's CA8528 Composite Toe EH Waterproof Boots are 8 inches high, tall enough to surround both your ankles. They won't protect you from all ankle injuries, but they'll help you walk a little steadier and a little safer when you need it most.

Kharthoum cigar leather (a shade of neutral brown) uppers were used to create the tall design for these Carolina boots. A fringed kiltie peeks out from the tongue to add a touch of detail, but you can remove it any time you like. Leather is made to move and flex, even as it retains its shape and protects. It's an adaptable, weather-resistant material, already perfectly made by Nature.

Inside these composite toe boots, waterproof SCUBALINER membranes hold out moisture to keep your feet dry. Fabric mesh lining adds softness but not heat; the breathable material allows natural air flow to keep feet cooler. And the AG7 footbeds were made with shock-resistant polyurethane, so the impact of every step will be comfortably absorbed. The footbeds are also removable for easy-to-clean maintenance.

The rubber soles on these men's boots are attached by a welt construction, a wrap around stitching method that creates a flexible base. Shock-absorbing rubber helps support every step, while heavy-duty steel linesman shanks lift muscles to prevent pain.

The EH boots are rated for resistance to electrical hazards. That means they'll absorb up to 600 volts of harmful electricity. The non-metallic composite toes aren't made with steel, but they do meet ASTM safety standards of impact- and compression-resistance with lighter weight.
