Pleasantly Surprised...

First time buying Carolina Boots and am quite satisfied with them.
I had concerns because I need 4E width and some manufactures exaggerate the width of their product.
When I first put on the boots with thin socks, they felt very stiff and heavy (each boot is 3 to 4 lbs). The insulation made them feel too tight.
I wore the work boots around the house for an hour, the insulation shaped itself to my feet and the fit relaxed.
I've worn them on the job for about a month, the weight hasn't been an issue, the soles haven't shown any wear, the insulation created a padded snug feeling, and my feet stayed dry when in wet areas.
The insulation made them feel too warm for the summer (80-90 deg days).
I will consider buying this brand / boot again.

The best boots I've ever owned...

These are without a doubt the best logger boots I've ever owned. Believe it or not they are almost as comfortable as a pair of sneakers. Super comfortable snug fit.
I've walked through 6" deep puddles and stepped into mud bogs halfway up the laces and my feet never got wet.
Once they're dry a quick brush over with a suede brush and the dark brown color comes back practically like new.
My only disappointment may be that I might not be able to wear them all summer. But I'll certainly try, especially when taking the dog into the woods near my house. I usually hate winter, but I'm actually looking forward to next winter so I can wear these Carolina boots all the time! I highly recommend these awesome insulated boots!!

Feet were Warm and Dry...

These boots are my 4th set of Carolina boots I've owned. Needed an insulated logger boot for winter and these were so reasonably priced, I ordered them. Happy at how fast they were shipped. When I first put them on, they were very tight, but wearing them around the house for little while, they began to fit very well. I used them for work last week in 30 degree weather and my feet were sweating! I know that my feet will be warm and dry this winter. Highly Recommended. This is why I buy Carolina's and order them from Working Person's Store!

Best Winter Boot I've Ever Had!!!...

I have worn the Carolina CA4821 for 5 years now. Hands down the best boots to ever cover my feet. The thinsulate keeps my feet warm no matter the conditions and believe me we had a cold snowy winter in Philly this year with 60" plus of snow. I have also never had an issue with water getting through. The best thing about these boots is that they are comfortable from day 1 and they can be re-soled. I would recommend the Carolina boots to anyone needing a good pair of winter work boots at a fair price.

I`ve presented to my friend these CA boots, and his opinions following. First of all, these pair of boots are has excellent parformance, very comfortable, durable rich oiled crazy horse leather that are rubberized soft touch, and 600 grams Thinsulate keeps his feet toasty. But he have a only complaint is upper part of these boots collar, there are not leather but synthetic leather. He was little disapointment there. But he loves them.
