Most times, once you've experienced the good stuff, you can't ever really go back to the old. You've probably replaced your beater car with a better model. What makes these shoes so great starts with the materials. Carolina uses nubuck leather for the uppers. This is a top-grain cattle leather that has been sanded on the outside to give it a short nap that looks and feels like velvet, but resists wear and tear like a pro. Then it's seam-sealed to be completely waterproof, so you stay dry all day. The waterproof boots are lined with taibrelle, an excellent synthetic material that wicks internal moisture away from your feet to keep you protected from rash, fungus, and chafing. The 200 grams of Thinsulate insulation gives you lightweight yet powerful protection from nasty, cold temperatures.

This premium footwear also feature steel shanks, which are metal plates in the soles of the tan boots to make long-term standing more comfortable by giving your feet extra support. The direct-attach construction fuses the soles to the uppers for a waterproof bond that's lightweight and flexible. They're electrical hazard rated for jobsite safety, too. Plus, the oil-resistant rubber lug outsoles provide reliable traction on all kinds of surfaces.
