With apadded, sturdy, brown, Nubuck leather uppers and sturdy steel shanks, these work boots are made to respond aggressively to the worst your work can throw at you. Leather is naturally abrasion- and water-resistant, and it's hard to puncture or tear. The steel shank keeps these men's boots comfortable. Shanks are the bars of metal in the soles of the Caterpillar boots that are positioned to force them to break appropriately.
