Why are these ~Caterpillar Women’s Charcoal/Red 90299 Switch EH Steel Toe Shoes called Switch? Because this work footwear offers style, comfort, and safety that will make you ‘switch’ to only wearing them. Okay, that might not be exactly why, but they sure are a great pair of work footwear.

These charcoal and red athletic-style Caterpilllar shoes are made with a combination of synthetic Nubuck and nylon mesh. The Nubuck makes the uppers incredibly soft and gives them a casual suede look. The durable nylon mesh on the uppers allows for air flow, while the nylon mesh lining is lightweight and provides ventilation to keep your feet cool.

ErgoLite technology makes these women's shoes super comfortable. Arch support and heel cushioning is created by the sculpted design of ErgoLite . The contoured footbeds of these steel toe boots are breathable and shaped to your feet. Nylex and polyurethane sock liners draw moisture away from your feet while providing an additional layer of cushion. The molded EVA midsoles add stability while absorbing shock. These EH shoes are made with a combination of Strobel and cement construction that give the lightweight and flexible feel of athletic shoes.

The T-1000 rubber outsoles of the EH shoes are made to be long-wearing and abrasion-resistant. The outsoles of these safety toe shoes is also made with Caterpillar’s SRX Extreme Slip-Resistance to keep you on your feet. Constructed with a steel toe that is I/75 and C/75, these Switch shoes are ready to protect feet from falling object or compression. An electrical hazard rating means the wearer will be protected from accidental contact with live electrical circuits. These slip-resistant shoes meet ASTM F2413-11 standards.
