The ~Georgia G8040 Men's 8-inch Insulated Waterproof Gore-Tex Kiltie is a premier work boot. Georgia Boot safety footwear is laboratory tested to meet the highest OSHA safety standards. Every new material or component is thoroughly tested before being used to make Georgia Boots. Let us tell you how they are made.

From the Georgia Boot Company comes the G8040, made with black waterproof full grain leather, and insulated with 200 grams of Thinsulate. These boots have a kiltie at the bottom of the tongue that hangs over the toe-a feature more often found in expensive men's dress shoes or golf shoes. The Kiltie boots have a Cambrelle-lined Gore-Tex bootie for its moisture-wicking properties. There's a removable polyurethane orthotic insert, a ribbed steel shank that provides unparalleled stability, and a Vibram high abrasion rubber lug outsole. These Georgia boots are laced through brass stud grommets and hooks.
