Layers of materials were used to build these water-resistant gloves. It begins with an under layer of PVC nitrile. PVC, polyvinyl chloride, is tough and flexible while nitrile rubber is resilient and durable. Soft ultra suede fabric on the palm of these work gloves repels oil and water. On the back of the hand, high-visibility laminated fabric (that means covered with plastic) repels oil and water. Silicone dots were placed on the palms and fingertips to give your hands grip on whatever you grasp. Neoprene, a synthetic rubber material, was used to create the cuffs. Heavy-duty TPR, thermoplastic rubber, is placed across the knuckles, on the thumb, on the backs of the fingers, and the back of the hand.
