Iron Age starting making the first safety toe shoes in America just after World War I. As the times changed, so did their styles and technologies, but their commitment to quality never wavered. ~These Iron Age Mens 6" Composite Toe Brown Work Boots IA5002 are part of a long line of excellent products.

Today, Iron Age boots are recognized for their fine materials and craftsmanship. These work boots are made with full-grain, tumbled leather uppers in a supple, chestnut brown. Leather is a durable boot material. It's naturally water resistant and also resists abrasions, oils and chemical stains.

Inside, moisture-wicking nylon mesh helps keep your feet dry and healthy. This material moves wetness away from your skin and to the outer parts of the boots where it can evaporate. A hefty cushion also keeps your feet comfortable and healthy. Inside these boots, removable EVA cushion inserts with sponge rubber heel wedges provide support.

The soles of these Electrical Hazard boots are also designed to resist wear and tear. They have an EVA cushioned midsole with a rubber outsole. The outsole resists oil, chemicals, metal chips, slipping, heat and abrasion. In the end, sure-footedness is the best way to ensure that you're safe on the job, and these Iron Age shoes keep you on your feet.

Brown laces tighten up the front and hold down the tongue. Around the ankle of the 6" shaft, padded ankle guards provide protection from knocks and other impacts. A 90-degree heel also guards you from accidents, as its a feature that aids you when climbing ladders. The heels bite into ladder rungs to protect you from slipping.
