Keen Utility 1007977 Men's Milwaukee Work Boots

What's not to love about Milwaukee? The city's got beer and now Keen has named men's footwear after Milwaukee. You can't go wrong with either an icy-cold long neck or a pair of Keen 1007977 men's 6 inch Milwaukee waterproof boots.

These work boots are perfect for what's "ale-ing" you about your regular old work footwear. (Excuse us as we duck under our desk after that last pun.) Instead of being heavy and uncomfortable, these brown boots use waterproof Nubuck for their uppers. Nubuck is manufactured when cow's hide is split. The outer, thinner layer becomes suede and the thicker, inner layer becomes Nubuck. Nubuck's got the soft look and feel of suede but is far more durable. Before making these slip-resistant boots, the leather is waterproofed so your feet are even better protected.

These men's boots don't just repel water; they resist things that degrade leather, so they last longer. The rugged uppers are abrasion-resistant Tough-Tec leather that's also treated to be stain resistant. Inside these waterproof boots, moisture-wicking textile linings keep your feet dry and healthy. When wet feet stay inside your work shoes all day, they can end up smelling or developing fungus. Keen footwear is good to go by wicking moisture away from your skin to keep your feet healthier.

Keen keeps your feet dry and comfortable. These Milwaukee shoes have removable Metatomical dual-density EVA footbeds. They cushion your feet, so your days don't seem as long. When you're wearing these men's boots, you'll be surprised that 5 o'clock rolls around as quickly as it does. In addition, if you're around an open circuit, these EH boots protect you as well. They're electrical hazard (EH) rated which means that they provide a secondary source of protection. They meet or exceed ASTM F2412-11 and F2413-11 I/75 C/75 EH standards.

With oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsoles, these water-resistant boots are sure to put the "hops" back in your steps. And the tough outsoles are attached to the leather uppers with special KEEN.Welt construction. This proprietary method provides enhanced durability, so you have the confidence of knowing the soles are securely attached to this footwear. The laces are fed through locking metal hooks and metal lacing eyelets. Some shoes have laces that slip and loosen after a few hours on the job, but since the hardware on these grips the laces, they stay tight all day.

There are few things a working man loves more than comfortable workwear and kicking back after a long day at work. You'll love these Keen Utility 1007977 6 Inch Milwaukee boots. Click and order yourself a pair today and see just how amazing Milwaukee can be!

Quality dropped...
This is my second pair of these boots. First pair was great, second pair seems to be off lesser quality. Soles are cheaply constructed and contain gaps. 3 star rating is based on the durability of first pair.

Good but not great...
I've had the boots for about 9 months now, so I think I qualify for a review. First, they are super stiff. They took about 3 weeks before breaking in. My heels were raw. The toes are pretty thick with the rubber, which is good if you do flat work like I do. But they are so large you have no feel for your foot- like my left foot is constantly getting hooked by the toe when I use the clutch in my truck. Like clown shoes. The soles wear real well, but again I have no "feel". I guess that's the trade off. The upper lace hooks are pot metal, and they bend when you sit on your feet when kneeling. I tried bending them back to get the laces out and 2 of them snapped right off. Not good. I normally wear the rubber toed Wolverine Crawfords, which have their own problems, and wanted to see if there was something better. For me, the Keen is overpriced and too Frankenstein-ish. I'll keep looking.

Excellent pair of boots...
The first day I wore these boots I was worried that my feet would suffer, I had them on for 10 hours and they felt great on my feet without a break in period.. A friend has had a pair for over a year now so they do hold up well and still look good. I will be recommending these boots to all my friends.

I ordered a pair of these boots based off others review of the keen brand. I found the break in easy and after about 9+ months they are still pretty comfortable but being in the plumbing and heating business the weight of the boot really starts to take its toll on your knees.

Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!

I would like to start by saying that I was very pleased with your products and service. But it was Dawn who made it all worth while. Without her service all of this would not have been possible. Every customer service rep. should be more like her, because the world would be much more at ease with people like herself. I have never experienced such quality service before from any other company that I have bought from such as yours. Dawn has a lot of good qualities that she can offer your company. I believe she is very valuable to you. Again I would like to thank you for your excellent service and products.
