Black and yellow accents decorate the ankle-high design of these KEEN Utility boots to set off the brown leather. That leather isn't just any old material - it's Nubuck. Soft, flexible, touchable Nubuck has the velvety texture of suede. You'll want to wear these Tucson boots because they also have the durable strength of full-grain leather. That means it's tough. It's also waterproof, and that's important in case you ever plan on going outside in your slip-resistant boots.

Inside, KEEN.Dry waterproof membranes surround your steps when you wear these men's shoes. The lightweight membranes block moisture to keep steps drier. They're breathable, and that means air can pass through the membranes of these puncture-resistant boots, even though water won't. Natural air flow keeps skin less sweaty and healthier - two things we can highly recommend.

The lining keeps you dry, too. It's made with 2-zone hydrophobic/hydrophilic comfort technology. Those fancy words mean that the lining of these waterproof boots repels water and absorbs it, so it works two different ways to keep your skin moisture-free. EVA foam was used to make the footbeds of these leather boots. The lightweight foam footbeds are metatomical to match the lines and curves of your feet. They’re removable, so you can pull them out and clean them at any time and that is important. Nobody wants to walk around with smelly brown shoes!

Puncture-resistant midsole plates inside these puncture-resistant boots protect you from all those dangers on the ground. Sharp glass, nails, and other hazards may stay hidden until you step on them. When you do, you'll be protected against them. The uppers of this KEEN Utility footwear are finished with locking metal hooks and eyelets to keep the laces firmly in place.

The non-marketing rubber soles have been tested to meet ASTM F1677-96 Mark II non-slip testing standards. That means the tread really is slip-resistant and designed to give you traction even on slick, dangerous floors. The soles of these non-slip boots are also oil-resistant and tough against corrosive chemical substances.

Rated for ASTM F2892-11 electrical hazard standards, the soles of the men's footwear actually absorb dangerous electrical energy. That keeps you safer working around open circuits. The other features keep you safe everywhere else.
