For superior abrasion resistance, the Moab Vertex Vent footwear features rubber toe caps. This design also includes bellows tongues to keep out debris, in addition to strong non-metallic hardware. The composite safety toe work shoes come with an EH rating as well, meaning you'll have electrical hazard coverage under certain dry conditions. The oil- and slip-resistant rubber outsoles are Mark II tested, while the Merrell M-Select™ GRIP rubber tunes in each of the durable outsoles offer excellent traction that really grips. They're heat-resistant outsoles, too, providing foot protection for short periods of time of direct contact with surfaces that meet or exceed 500°F.
