The rugged uppers are constructed with waterproof full-grain leather plus breathable mesh for a winning combination. Merrell M Select™ DRY impermeable membranes seal out water and let moisture escape, so your feet can breathe easy. Molded nylon arch shanks offer midfoot support with flexibility, too, so you can stay on your feet longer. Also adding stability are the Merrell air cushions in the heels that absorb shock as well.

These waterproof composite toe shoes feature oil- and slip-resistant rubber outsoles that have been Mark II tested. They also have Merrell M-Select™ GRIP rubber that tunes them to have durable traction that grips exactly when and where you need it - so feel free to go on some adventures with these Moab Vertex Mid shoes. The strong yet flexible outsoles are also heat-resistant for short periods of time of temperatures that meet or exceed 500°F. Merrell included abrasion-resistant rubber toe caps for enhanced protection, and the non-metallic composite safety toes are ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 rated for your safety. The hardware is also non-metallic to make sure this is a lightweight pair of waterproof men's shoes, and bellows tongues keep out debris.

Inside, COMFORTBASE™ contoured footbeds cradle your foot in all-day comfort, as they feature breathable foam that offers superior cushioning. This COMFORTBASE™ midsole technology makes certain you have increased shock absorption and cushion beneath your feet.
