Stuck working outdoors in the winter…lucky you. No, seriously. If you’re wearing this navy/black Occunomix liner you’re lucky. The shoulder-length, two-way liner covers your head, ears and neck in a blanket of warmth. The double-button neck closure on this FR hood keeps the nasty elements securely out and away from your skin. You’ll be wrapped snug like your favorite burrito when you're in this Occunomix FR hood. This two-way liner has a convenient zipper at the bottom so you can easily zip the bottom portion on or off as needed.

This Occunomix winter hard hat liner is not only made to keep you exceptionally warm, it’s also flame-resistant, so it will protect your hair and head from sparks, flame and heat. It meets ASTM F1506 safety standards. The upper cap is made of flame-resistant treated cotton with a modacrylic lining and an arc rating of ATPV = 21 cal/cm². It meets Hazard Risk Category 2. Modacrylic is a synthetic material that’s soft, strong, and resilient and is quick to dry. The lower part of the liner is made of 18.0 ounce modacrylic soft rib knit with an arc rating of ATPV = 28.6 cal/cm² and is Hazard Risk Category 3. This may all sound confusing, but these ratings measures how much heat this shirt can take without melting and burning against your skin.

Important to note: this Occunomix liner is flame-resistant for up to 50 washings.

To ensure consistent flame-resistant protection throughout the entire liner, the zipper and thread are constructed of flame-resistant Nomex. Before heading out in the extreme cold this winter dress your body AND your head in layers. The Occunomix LZ620 FR Flame Resistant Winter Hat Liner is an important step in helping to keep you warm head-to-toe.
