The saddle brown fabric has been hand-washed for softness, because all little guys need comfort. The material is 100% cotton mid-weight duck material. Cotton duck has the toughness and water-repellency of canvas cloth. Duck resists tearing and tough wearing, because nobody can dish out damage like a little guy.

Black taffeta lines the interior of these coveralls to create all-over smoothness. Taffeta fabric has a smooth, satin-like quality, but it's much tougher. It protects the bonded polyester fiberfill insulation that creates a warming heat seal around little bodies. The insulation refuses to let body heat escape, trapping it instead to keep them warm even on the coldest winter days.

The #5 antique brass two-way zippers on the front and legs are highly durable. Storm flaps protect the leg zippers from rain and moisture. Double knee construction, with cleanout bottoms, add double the durability in this area. Additional durability is provided by the tough, triple-needle stitching, which uses three threads to create seams instead of one.

When you wash them, be sure to check all the pockets for the little treasures they’ll store. These coveralls have chest pockets with Velcro closures, an inside chest pocket, two hip pockets and double utility pockets. A locker loop makes it easy to hang up.
