This blue tech coat is made of 4 ounce warp knit fabric, a blend of 94% texturized polyester and 6% carbon suffused nylon. The warp knit means it's not likely to sag or run compared to other knits. This material creates a path for static charges to travel and diffuse. Why is this important? You're not the only thing in your work area that could suffer from shocks. Static discharge (also referred to as electrostatic discharge or ESD) can damage your delicate electrical components. Anti-static material lets you focus on your job without worrying about your ESD lab coat. You can rest easy knowing this ESD coat meets ESD STM 2.1-1997 test methodology.

The six-gripper closure on the front of this Red Kap coat gives you secure, all-day coverage. The entire anti-static coat measures 41.5 inches in length (based on size medium). For your convenience, a left breast pocket and two lower pockets give you just enough space to store supplies, tools, or other essential equipment. The one-piece, notched lapel collar on this tech coat is made to lay flat so you look neat and professional.
