Free Returns For Product Exchanges

At we want you to be happy with your purchase! Return shipping is free when you exchange an item in new condition for a new replacement item. Products being returned for a full refund are not eligible for free return shipping. To return or exchange an item, simply complete the easy Return/Exchange Request Form prior to shipping the item(s) back for credit or exchange. It's fast and easy!

Here's how it works:

Free Returns
  1. If you checked out as guest when you created your order click here to begin your return/exchange request. If you have an account, start your return/exchange request from your customer dashboard.
  2. Drop off the package at your nearest UPS location.
  3. Please be sure that the item you are returning/exchanging is unused and still in it's original packaging (ALL clothing still have tags, shoes are in their original box, etc.) . Once we have received the item in unused condition, your replacement item will ship. Credit for refunds is applied after the return item has been received in unused condition.
  4. Free return shipping is limited to product exchanges, and limited to one per customer every 30 days.
  5. Specially priced items do not qualify for free return shipping. Items sold at closeout or clearance prices are not eligible to be returned or exchanged. We reserve the right to refuse returns at our sole discretion. Additional free returns may be granted at the discretion of our customer service department.
  6. All returns must be requested within 30 days of you receiving the product.
  7. Items that have been embroidered are not returnable.

PLEASE NOTE: When returning shoes or boots, the product must be in its original box. That box must be in the condition it was in when you received the package. Please do not use the original shoebox as your shipping box. Use a box big enough for the shoebox to fit in when returning your items. If the original box is at all damaged (unusable for resale) we reserve the right to charge you a $10.00 fee to replace the box.

If you are returning clothing it must be unworn, unwashed, and in NEW condition. Clothing items must have their original tags and/or packaging. We will not accept items contaminated by animal hair, have an odor to them, or have clearly been worn other than trying the item on to see if it fits. These items will be returned to you at your cost.

IMPORTANT NOTICE CONCERNING REFUNDS: As soon as you return your item to us and it's received into our systems, we will expeditiously send a refund request to your bank. Please note that while the funds are instantly deducted from our account, some banks may take 5-7 business days to process and post these refunds to their customer's accounts. Refunded items do not qualify for free return shipping.

Custom ordered products from White's Boots & Wesco boots are not able to be returned. Due to manufacturer policy returns are not allowed for the following brands: KEY Clothing, Filson, Wesco boots, White's Boots.

The Working Person's Store reserves the right to apply a restocking fee on refunds for returned orders in certain situations. A restocking fee of 18% may be charged if your return is over $1,000
