These painter pants are made for the serious pro...
By: Brian Moore
I bought these Blaklader pants several months ago, and as a multi-tasking pro, I have found it very useful that I can carry additional hand tools and hardware that fit into the flip out pockets that fold into my front pockets. Very cool use of space! Especially since I do not have to make added trips to my work van for screws, nails or another hand tool. The knees of these pants are designed for removable knee pads and if you have ever crawled around on hardwood floors masking or brushing baseboards your knees thank you. Overall, this is an excellent product for the pro who demands as much from his/her work apparel as he/she does in our work day. Brian, Ft. Collins, Colorado

Kneepad Pockets...
By: Thomas
Love the pants! The Kneepad Pockets are too low! The Kneepad Pockets do not cover the Knees on both of the Blaklader Pants I purchased! They begin just below the knee and cover the shins of your legs! Also the hem of the inside pocket that holds the pads you insert for your knees is only about an inch. So how can you place full knee pads in the pockets and expect a one inch hem to hold them in there? The Kneepad Pockets need to be centered at the knee position of the pant and the hem of the inside of the pocket needs to be at least 3 1/2 inches so you can place knee pads in the pockets so they won't work there way out of the pocket when your working on your knees. Please consider these improvements.

painter pants...
By: Steve
Although expensive, these are the best painter pants I have worn. All the pockets I could ever need including a protected mobile device pocket. The knee pads are always at the correct level and when standing, do not get in the way or cause sweating. I will never wear anything else

A happier painter...
By: Ferguson from Dayton, OH
Painters pants haven't changed since the invention of painters pants. Before I found Blaklader I was stuck wearing stiff, tight, and unfuntional pant choices. Blaklader pants make perfect sense. They are well made, built in knee pad pockets, roomy, plenty of storage, and finally a pocket that actually holds a more having it fall out on the job or tearing apart my truck seats.

Pants are light and comfortable....
By: Bach Construction
I bought these pants for remodel work. The days you don't need to wear pouches. Great for tape, pencil and small tools. The pants are comfortable, plus great option for knee pants.
Only wish front pocket pouches came off and had option for different pockets to attach.
Would really like option of black rather than gray on knee covers. Still good pants for price.

Best stuff for painter...
By: ididsonstructions
Use this pants for 3 years, change them every 6 months or so, and only because of full of paint, not because its worn off, have no idea how many years you can wear them, before making a hole. Its really touph stuff, many pockets which good for tools, for receipts. So many pockets, that close to evening time those pants become sooo heavy with all stuff I put there :)
Have just 2 complaints, first it's a front outside pockets, as for me they look stupid so I would reconsider the place where they should be. Second: blaklader in germany for last few years made few more styles of painter pants, but its impossible to get there in USA, why is that, I would gladly buy few more even if they twice expensive, I want to look stylish even when I'm full of paint :)
