My husband now has 3 pairs of these...
By: Sandy (Wife of the wearer)
My husband now has 3 pairs of these pants and I will NOT allow him to buy any others! For him as an electrician the "ripstop" part of these pants is key. He can literally blow through a regular pair of work pants in a month with the abuse he gives them, between nails getting caught and tearing them or the drill he hung on the hammer loop "for a second" ripping that off, or um, squatting down the wrong way causing a certain "very important" seam to rip open - which HAS happened, I'm not making it up!!! I don't quite know how he got through the rest of that day with his underwear hanging out but sometimes it's better to not ask questions. I think I remember strategically placed electrical tape was the fix...so please don't get me wrong, Carhartts are GREAT pants but just not for my particular husband to wear to work. The Riggs pants have lasted 10 months so far (literally saving us at least $30 per month to buy a new pair) and clean up beautifully - they wash and dry very well with no color bleeding or shrinking since day 1 and since he doesn't have a pair for every day of the week yet they certainly have been washed and dried many times now! He loves that they breathe even when he's wedged in an attic in 95 degree heat and has also mentioned the "freedom of movement" in the nether regions that he doesn't get in any of his other pants. Buy 2 pairs of these, get the free shipping, and leave your computer knowing that you just spend your money wisely. The people at Wrangler who designed these pants are obviously in tune with what real people need when it comes to work pants!

These are a realy comfortable pair of jeans....
By: Ted
These are a realy comfortable pair of jeans. These really don't bind... you know where.
What I especially like about them is the fabric. It breathes much better that bluejeans especially in the Texas heat when working outside. It is thinner than denim and lighter.
My only complaint about these pants.... they only come in one color. Yea...I'm getting another pair, but I'de like more color options. I'm hard to shop for so when I find a pair of pants I like I'll buy 4 or 5.

Very comfortable jeans, good pant leg to fit...
By: Tony Watkins
Very comfortable jeans, good pant leg to fit over rubber muck boots. Lots of moving room. But good looking.

I love these jeans compared to all others...
By: John
I love these jeans compared to all others because of the fit and feel. The durability is second to none. When I work outside in the northern cold, I dont feel the wind blowing through them, but they breath in the warm weather, how do they do it.You wont go wrong with these Riggs jeans.

I'm a garbage man, and I own two...
By: Robert
I'm a garbage man, and I own two pair of this Ripstop. Its the best pants in toughness, comfort and style in workwear. I dont think I would buy any other pants for work rather than this.

I now own four pairs of these jeans...
By: apple farmer Jim
Great fit for active work, climbing ladders, trudging thru brush including rose thorns and fencing. Love the light weight and tough fabric. Warm on cold days and reasonably cool on hot days. If Wrangler asked me about colors, I'd tell them to add black to their selection only if they are prepared for the increased business.

Great Pants...
By: Scott
I really like the Riggs pants. They start out a bit "stiff", but after a couple of washes, they are perfect. Certainly are worth the extra $6 or $8 over the basic work jeans that are available. Very comfortable, great quality and really do hold up longer than most of my pants. Wish there were more choices of colors.

Great feel and very stable...
By: SouthBendJosh
These pants are very comfortable-feeling, but are also very durable. The seams are reinforced in ways that regular pants/jeans just aren't. The reinforcement at the top of the pocket is great for carrying/using a pocket knife with a clip. The only drawback is that its not at the top of both sides of the pants, because I am left handed. But that's no big deal overall. Great pants.

What a great idea. Work jeans that are ripstop and cool....
By: handyman-central
I own 4 pair of these pants. Bought 2 last year. For me the key ingredients are: 1- RIPSTOP. I’m forever cutting or pulling rips from protruding nails. I’ve been known to shred a jeans pant leg in 3 weeks. 2- Room to move around. I move and kneel throughout the day and don’t want to feel captive and confined by my work pants. I need room! 3- They breathe! The material are especially great in the summer months. I’d be sweaty dead meat in hot summer jeans when I’m in an attic. 4 - The leather measuring tape shield on the right hand pocket. What a great idea. What great summer work jeans.

Over all liking...
By: Galen Haddock
I ordered these jeans over a year ago and have reordered again but after wearing other jeans I have come to the conclusion that these Riggs pants are not the perfect jeans. If they had a phone pocket, I would be wearing Riggs all the time. The jeans have a pocket on the left side but at the top of that pocket it narrows to the point of being to small to get a phone in. We all know we carry our phones with us. I have a phone cover that clips to my belt but it is ALWAYS getting caught on something. So these Riggs jeans are out of favor with me. Carhartt does a good job of this issue. Sorry Riggs, get with the program!

Most comfortable work pants I've found...
By: desperado
These Riggs brand pants are the most comfortable pants I've found. They are cut full and have large deep pockets. Don't bind when you squat. The fabric is a tough canvas like material but not too heavy. They work good on the job and look good for Saturday night. I've finally talked my 20 year old son into trying a pair. (You can bet that he wasn't sold on the idea of dressing like the old man.) Anyway, he came back and said that these are great - the most comfortable pants he's ever worn to work in. He goes through some regular denim jeans lifting, loading, and stocking for Sam's Club.

Great summer work pants...
By: GunnerJasmine
My husband found these ripstop jeans sometime back. He really likes them for summertime work pants. They are durable enough to hold up to wear and tear, but lightweight enough to be cool. The variety of colors is a plus too!

These are good pants for Summertime...
By: Chris Tache
The carpenter jeans tag is why I decided on them. They are a little thin except for summer months in Colorado. The 32x32 always fits me before and after washing. These are big in waist. Seems to be the trend in pants and shoes. I just cannot trust buying online anymore unless I go try on these products. Oh Well!!! Should have tried the 3W060 a thicker version of these pants.

Good pants, great price...
By: Alan
I've owned a pair of these pants in the past and they have really lasted! I would rate them a 5 star except for the fit in the waist is too big. The 'room to move' construction is great but a tad too 'baggy'. Long term wear and tear will tell the rest of the story. Thank you Wrangler for the attention to quality!

Disappointed...
By: Simon
I have really liked the Wrangler Riggs line, so I was very disappointed when I got these. I ordered my usual size, 34 X 30, and that's how these were labelled, but they were too long, and too loose, and too large in the waist and I wound up looking like a six-year-old wearing his father's pants. They are also not loden green, but more of a faded army green, not an attractive color at all, and they are not really jeans, but more of a canvas-type pant. I had to return them. Too bad.
