The 8-Inch uppers of these postal boots are crafted from heavy-duty black full-gain leather. This high-quality leather is abrasion-resistant and easy to maintain, but is polishable if you’re looking for duty boots you can give a shiny finish. The uppers of these Rocky boots are also waterproof to keep feet dry while remaining breathable to keep feet cool.
Made with a Direct Attach Construction, the soles of these American-Made boots are fused to the upper creating a durable, watertight bond. This construction also allows these Rocky boots to be lightweight and flexible. To prevent slipping and falling, the outsoles are slip- and oil-resistant. Also, the outsoles of these slip-resistant boots are made with a combination of TPU and PU for stability and flexibility.
An extra thick PU Rocky Air-Port footbed with Airflow design ensures your feet will stay cool, comfortable, and cushioned on your route. This footbed has also been treated with Aegis Microbe Shield to prevent the growth of mold, fungus, and mildew that cause odor. The padded collar and padded leather tongue add comfort to the front and back, but also keep out dirt and debris. The non-metallic stabilizer offers support and stability while absorbing shock.
