The smooth, brown leather (the shade is officially called Tobacco) has been oil-tanned for additional water-resistance. The flexible leather is soft and pliable, moving easily with your steps. And every time you slip on these Thorogood boots, you'll be walking in USA-made footwear.

The dual-density insoles of these American-Made boots are made with Poron 4000 comfort cushions. Shock-absorbent, lightweight and easy-to-clean, the removable cushions soften every step. The rubber midsoles add a layer of impact-resistance for you. Enjoy the lightweight, engineered composite shanks that take the pressure off your muscles as they lift and support your arches to prevent pain.

Goodyear storm welt construction holds the non-marking, single-density polyurethane MAXwear wedge outsoles in place. The Vibram soles have a deep-cut, slip-resistant tread to help your feet find traction. The soles in these men's boots can withstand as much as 18,000 volts of electric shock. In addition they've been tested to meet CAN/CSA-Z195 safety standards. Your feet will also appreciate the fact that these steel toe boots also meet the ASTM F2413-05 M I/75/C/75 safety toe standard.
