Thorogood built these men's boots starting with dirty brown, crazy horse leather. It's flexible, breathable and comfortable - intended for rigorous use! Leather is naturally resistant to oil, abrasions, and water, so these work boots are perfect for wear on any job site. Also, did you know these are totally American-Made?
Working men have lots of needs, and we're not only talking about making sure you don't miss the next football game! You need comfortable, breathable shoes that support your feet, legs, and back. These have vamps that are lined with cotton drill fabric, so they're comfortable and wick moisture away from your skin. Under your feet are removable insoles with a dual-density ultimate shock absorption footbeds that are layered above a Poron 4000 comfort cushion. These materials come together to absorb shock and cushion your feet.
Single-density polyurethane MAXwear wedge outsoles give you excellent support. These brown boots rest atop rugged wedge soles, giving you slip-resisting tread and stable footing. Since most on-the-job injuries result from slip-and-fall accidents, this footwear can help cover your feet and your butt! When the tough soles are paired with the crazy horse leather uppers (we just like mentioning that), you get one rugged, abrasion-resistant pair of shoes.
Inside the soles is a shank made of engineered composite material. They're placed in the soles of shoes in such a way that they force the shoes to break comfortably when you step. They are attached to the uppers using Goodyear storm welt construction, which provides you with excellent durability and longevity.
