We know it’s all about the comfort. That is why this men's footwear is equipped with a single-density polyurethane MAXwear wedge. This wedge offers you greater shock-absorption and is longer-lasting than other wedge-style outsoles. These Thorogood boots feature insoles built from a combination of removable polyurethane footbeds on top of a Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion. The PU footbeds are lightweight and breathable, while the Poron 4000 Comfort Cushion is moisture-wicking, shock-absorbing, and gives long-lasting cushion. Poron is also anti-microbial to prevent odor.

The 6-inch uppers of this workwear are crafted from black oil-tanned leather. Soft and flexible, oil-tanned leather is also water-, damage-, and stain-resistant. Goodyear Welt construction is exceptionally durable and strong while allowing for constant air flow to keep feet cool. This heavy-duty construction makes it nearly impossible to lose the sole but still allows the American-made boots to be resoled if necessary.

Slip-resistant outsoles will keep you right where you belong: on your feet! Also, the soles and heels are EH, or electrical hazard rated, to protect you from accidental contact with live electrical circuits.
