Wigwam Socks: USA Made F2322 530 Merino Wool Blend All Season Socks

Before heading out on those cold days, slip a pair of these Wigwam F2322 530 USA-Made Cornflower Blue Merino Comfort Hiking Socks on to your feet to get the warm comfort you need. These all-season socks are also ideal to wear when the temperature rises. They're made with ultra soft Merino wool to keep you warm, dry, and comfortable in all types of weather.

To provide the perfect blend of soft comfort, performance, and durability, this pair of socks are made with a combination of 67% Merino wool, 21% stretch nylon, 7% elastic, and 5% acrylic. The fabric's superfine fibers are especially soft, non-scratchy, and feel like silk against your skin, making it one of the most comfortable fabrics to wear. In addition to being soft, Merino wool also resists odors and is a great insulator. It has the ability to respond to changes in temperature, keeping you warm when it's cold and absorbing and releasing moisture when you're hot when you wear these Wigwam socks.

Nylon is extensible, elastic, and resilient. Stronger than cotton or wool, the material is exceptionally durable, abrasion-resistant, and has a high resistance to tearing under shock loads. Elastic adds a little stretch to the mix for extra durability, providing comfort and a better fit while wearing these American-Made socks. The material can be stretched repeatedly and will still recover close to its original shape.

Meanwhile, acrylic is a quick-drying, synthetic textile fiber which wicks moisture away from your skin and quickly transports it to the surface of the fabric. The wicking capability of acrylic is permanent and in a class by itself compared to other fibers. In addition, the material of these hiking socks will resist fading, shrinking, oils, chemicals, mildew, and fungus.

For added comfort throughout the day, Wigwam's cornflower blue socks are fully cushioned and feature a foot-hugging fit. The seamless toe closure offers a smooth feel and eliminates harmful ridges that can cause irritation to your toes. When you're working or hiking, you don't have to worry about your work socks falling down either. The stay-put leg and top featured on this pair of comfort USA-Made socks will prevent that from happening.

Order a pair of Wigwam F2322 530 USA-Made Cornflower Blue Merino Comfort Hiking Socks so you can have soft comfort for your feet while you're working, hiking, or lounging around the house. Merino wool will keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer, so you'll be comfortable all year long.

Stylin' and Comfy All Day Socks...
By:
Okay, I'll admit it, I bought these for the color. But also because they are wool, which is all I wear at work anymore, and because these were made by Wigwam, which is a company that has been making socks for a really long time, so they pretty much know how to do it right. The day after I got these, I wore them to work with my least comfortable boots, figuring that would really make for a good test. Let's face it, if you have a physical job, where you're on your feet all day, an uncomfortable pair of socks can really be a pain in the posterior. The reason I like these is because 1) your feet don't sweat as much in wool as they do in cotton; 2) they are a good mid-weight, not too heavy and thick, and not too light, but as Goldilocks might say, just right; 3) they stay up! 4) they don't have those annoying toe seams that cheaper, less well made socks have; and 5) they're a neat shade of blue, which is not only kinda cool, but makes it real easy to separate my socks from everybody else's in the laundry. I like these. I will get more. Maybe purple next time. Why should Donny Osmond have all the fun?

Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!

I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company. I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning. This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North. Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped. Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
