The Wolverine work boots for men are made with durable Wolverine Performance full-grain leather uppers. That gives the DuraShock black boots flexibility and comfort without sacrificing the comfort. They have a removable full-cushion dual-density polymer footbed, and there's also a polyurethane midsole to keep your foot padded and comfortable.

The fiberglass shanks used for the Wolverine men's boots are lightweight yet provides stability for your foot. That's just the thing you need to do a little fishing from the pier on your camping trip.

The rubber outsoles used for these slip-resistant 6-inch work boots are attached with direct-attach construction for long-lasting wear. The compression pads in the heel and the forepart of the outsole compress under pressure to absorb shock and stress. The lugs on the bottom of the sole are made out of a unique compound that increases traction, and the advanced oil-resistant tread design gives a high surface area of contact and channels liquid away from the surface area making them more slip-resistant. These rugged soles have a 90-degree angle that provides a "bite" in the walking motion. Perfect for walking down the pier to the lake to "wet a line."
