Wolverine Boots: Men's Waterproof Insulated 10284 Vibram Lug Sole Logger Boots

If feet were meant to walk on hard concrete, grass wouldn't come out of the ground feeling soft and squishy. Clearly feet were meant to walk on soft surfaces, to be cushioned and protected...but your workplace isn't going to do that for you. These ~Wolverine 10284 Black Leather Nantucket Waterproof Insulated Men's Logger Black Boots will.

First, your feet will be surrounded with the soft flexibility of full-grain leather when you wear these Wolverine boots. Natural full-grain is as close as to the cow as you can get without going to the farm. It's left unprocessed so you get the best of leather's natural strength. It resists abrasions and it withstands wind and weather. Because this leather is also waterproof, it protects you from the ugly elements.

But just in case, these insulated boots are also lined with waterproof membranes to keep your feet dry and comfortable. Just wipe down the black leather to keep it looking good. Along with the thin membranes, these waterproof boots will keep you dry and protected. Wave mesh lining keeps the interior of these Nantucket Logger boots lightweight. The mesh material releases hot air and won't impede cooler air.

And when feet need to stay a little warmer instead of a little cooler, these work boots also offer insulation. The 400 gram weight 3M Thinsulate Ultra is very thin and lightweight, but it's also warming. Thinsulate absorbs your own body heat and reflects it back to you to keep feet warm. The insulation will keep you warm even in freezing temperatures, as long as you're moving and working.

Two layers of soft cushioning keep your feet comfortable when you wear these men's boots. Lightweight open cell polyurethane absorbs impact to prevent foot pain. Polyurethane is lighter than rubber, but even more force-absorbing. Remove the footbeds any time for easy cleaning. You'll get another layer of lightweight comfort thanks to the PVC midsoles. PVC, polyvinyl chloride, has the lightweight impact-absorbance of plastic.

Goodyear welt construction was used to join the Vibram rubber lug outsoles to the design of these Wolverine boots. Through the welt construction, the rubber soles and leather uppers are brought together with a firm, repairable stitched bond. Waxed thread was used for the stitching to make the construction moisture-resistant.

The lug tread pattern on the soles is designed to bite down into the terrain to give you gripping traction when you wear these Thinsulate boots. The shock-resistant rubber helps you bounce back from those steps for a more comfortable stride. Deep at the heart of the design, steel shanks lift and support arches to prevent painful muscle strain.

Your feet weren’t meant for hard floors. They were meant for these Wolverine 10284 Black Leather Nantucket Waterproof Insulated Men's Logger Boots.
